Glasgow – Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center
Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center (SECC – Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre) it lies on the north bank of the Clyde 15 min drugs from Kevlingrow Park, actually beyond the borders of the West End. They were built in 1985 r., to bring Riverbank back to life, old docks district. Two huge ones were built at that time, adjacent red and gray halls, which fulfill all sorts of roles. Fairs and fairs or gigantic concerts are organized there. Many guests are attracted by the nearby exclusive hotel and expensive restaurants in the nearby rotunda. It can be reached from two sides – also through the long closed tunnel under Clyde. On the opposite bank of the river stands the twin brother of the Rotunda-Dome of Discovery. During the Garden Festival in 1988 r. the building was the main attraction and the heart of the event, it housed a modern museum of science and technology. When the money tap was turned off after the festival, the gardens were overgrown and the museum was closed. The latest plans provide for the creation of a science and recreation park in this place, with the National Science Center, theater and maritime museum. "Projekt Tysiąclecia" has a chance to revive a neglected area and restore it to its former glory.
